Soneone Always Knows Just How You Feel, But Are They Certain?

I don't understand why everything you do is annoying me. I find you to be an obnoxious, egotistical, stubborn, close/small/simple minded fool, and an unforgiving, pride driven person. Why can't you just accept that maybe it was an accident. Maybe we're both hurting, and maybe I'm the only one that can fix it. You'd rather let her tell you who you can and cannot be friends with. Who does that!? Who monitors someone's social life? If you want to talk to someone, talk to them. If you want to yell and scream, then yell and scream at me, but don't keep it buried inside. I know you too well, and you know it. Why not go with what your gut is telling you. It's always better to release what is inside than to bury it away and regret what you never said. But, I know you won't... You're too good for that. ...Right...

Sister from another mister... We're sitting in the same boat right now, but we'll make it! I know you're 250 miles away, but remember this... I'm always a phone call away. We'll figure things out, and we'll find someone worth the wait, heartache, and the push. Hang in there love. For right now, there is only one guy we can count on. I know you know who that is... so lean on him, and we'll lean on one another. Love you!

Where Do Homeless People Get Their Markers?

I can't get over the title of this blog... I've used it for my personal one as well. The day I asked this question is a day I will never forget. Ah! The look on his face when I asked him "Where do homeless people get their markers?" was priceless! It's one of the memories I re-live when I take a 2 minute holiday! (Hold your breath for 2 minutes and re-live a favorite memory. It works every time I'm having a rough moment.)
Anyway... I was having listen to my itunes playlists and I noticed the one I had created a few days ago was basically my entire story... Explanation? I think so... the first couple of songs were me venting my feelings of the current on the past, and present on goings in my life. There is a turning point in the music and you notice a change. It's rather entertaining. It then starts 'predicting the future' as I hope to see it. When I listen to a song I pay close attention to the lyrics. Then I listen to the music behind the words. I do it this way, because I know if the music doens't resonate with me immediately, it will grow on me, if the lyrics are able to speak to me loudly enough. A bit odd I know, but then again... I've never been just anyone, or part of everyone. I found it ironic, because I hadn't paid attention to the songs I put on the CD. I just threw on music that I felt would be enjoyable to listen to. I put them in an order that I felt would be compatible. (I say felt, because I paid attention to the intuition or the direction -as cliche' as it sounds- my heart pushed me in... just call me pocohantas...)

She Who Dares To Stand Where I Stood

Missy Higgins - Where I Stood

I'm finding it easier to remember who I was before you, and who I need to be without you. I'm finding I was right to not depend only on you. All those fights about trust, and you needing me to need you... well, I was right to lean on no one but me. I'm sorry I hurt you. I'm sorry I was right. And I'm sorry I'm not what you need anymore. But it'll be okay. Not because I want it to be, but because I need it to be. I pray that she will love you better than I could. 'She who dares to stand where I stood...'

Show Me What I'm Looking For

Carolina Liar - Carolina Liar is an American-Swedish rock band based out of Los Angeles. Lead vocalist Chad Wolf is originally from Charleston, South Carolina, but the band and most of its members originate from Sweden. The band is best known for the song “I’m Not Over” off of its 2008 major label debut album Coming to Terms, produced by Swedish producers Martin “Max Martin” Sandberg & Johan Schuster. I found the story behind the original single to be rather interesting. Coming To Terms was written in about 20 minutes. The lead singer Chad Wolf was on a plane ride to Sweden when he just started writing down everything that had been going wrong in his life at that time. When he sat down with the guitarist and he just started playing riffs when Chad was like 'I got this' ran and grabbed the notebook he had written down in on the flight to Sweden and just started singing straight from what he had writen. They played it for Max Martin. He said if they could write 2 more songs like that he could hook them up with their producing company. The song turned out to the be the album title. The rest will be history.
