The Rose

The Rose - LeAnn Rimes with the Gay Men's Choir of Los Angeles

I am LDS, and I am a Christian, and I believe God loves all his children, without condition. I love my gay friends/family, and though I may differ in beliefs, and opinions, I refuse to judge someone because of the way they choose to live their life. It is not our place to judge, it is our requirement to love.

The Aaron Post...

Because I am me, and I put everything to music, and I really miss having Aaron around today for some reason... I've decided to finally update my music blog. :)

And though this post could go for days, I've summed it up to these 5 songs that will forever remind me of Aaron.

Breaking Benjamin is Aaron's favorite band, so that in and of itself will always put him with this band. But, it was with this song that I first heard him sing. I mean I heard his voice full on, my head was resting just beneath his chin, my cheek on his chest and I was just listening to him sing along with this song.
Give Me A Sign - Breaking Benjamin

I heard this song the day I sat and really questioned, Do I really love this man? This song came on while I was driving, and it was my answer. Also, it's Lifehouse. I mean come on, They are just amazing!
All in - Lifehouse

Aaron has always loved this song, but he now calls this his 'Theme Song." since I 'happened' to him. Have I mentioned I love this boy?
Invincible - Crossfade

I can't recall how many times Aaron and I have listened to this song in his truck. He loves to play it when we're together, and we've had an exceptionally amazing night/day/whatever.
Addicted - Saving Abel

And lastly "Our Song." This is the song we very first danced to in the back of his truck under a blanket of stars, and he asked me to be his girlfriend. It's funny, in that moment I wondered if this was going to be the start of something that would change my life forever. The answer is yes. Yes it was.
