Turn To Stone

Another Ingrid Michaelson wonder. This woman and her lyrics are pure poetry. She speaks so clearly, and so beautifully. The piano is moving, and haunting all at the same time. Forever and ever will this woman be in my top 5 list!

Second we have 'The Call' by Regina Spektor. The story is, the director of the second Narnia installment asked Regina to write a song for this movie a few weeks before the production was finished. She said she simply didn't have enough time to write a song for them. But, Regina is Regina and magic was made. She finished the song and sent it over. It is the song during the credits for Prince Caspian, and I have been in love wtih it since I first saw the movie two years ago!
 

For some strange reason these two songs remind me of one another. Perhaps it's the feeling that comes with both... either way, both are simply amazing pieces of art created by two amazing artists and should be shared and enjoyed with and by everyone!
