The Aaron Post...

Because I am me, and I put everything to music, and I really miss having Aaron around today for some reason... I've decided to finally update my music blog. :)

And though this post could go for days, I've summed it up to these 5 songs that will forever remind me of Aaron.

Breaking Benjamin is Aaron's favorite band, so that in and of itself will always put him with this band. But, it was with this song that I first heard him sing. I mean I heard his voice full on, my head was resting just beneath his chin, my cheek on his chest and I was just listening to him sing along with this song.
Give Me A Sign - Breaking Benjamin

I heard this song the day I sat and really questioned, Do I really love this man? This song came on while I was driving, and it was my answer. Also, it's Lifehouse. I mean come on, They are just amazing!
All in - Lifehouse

Aaron has always loved this song, but he now calls this his 'Theme Song." since I 'happened' to him. Have I mentioned I love this boy?
Invincible - Crossfade

I can't recall how many times Aaron and I have listened to this song in his truck. He loves to play it when we're together, and we've had an exceptionally amazing night/day/whatever.
Addicted - Saving Abel

And lastly "Our Song." This is the song we very first danced to in the back of his truck under a blanket of stars, and he asked me to be his girlfriend. It's funny, in that moment I wondered if this was going to be the start of something that would change my life forever. The answer is yes. Yes it was.
Bless the Broken Road - Rascal Flatts

Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down) - Nancy Sinatra

I was five and he was six
We rode on horses made of sticks
He wore black and I wore white
He would always win the fight

Bang bang
He shot me down, bang bang
I hit the ground , bang bang
That awful sound, bang bang
My baby shot me down

Seasons came and changed the time
When I grew up, I called him mine
He would always laugh and say
Remember when we used to play

Bang bang
I shot you down, bang bang
You hit the ground , bang bang
That awful sound, bang bang
I used to shoot you down

Music played and people sang?
Just for me the church bells rang?

Now he's gone I don't know why
And till this day some times I cry
He didn't even say goodbye
He didn't take the time to lie

Bang bang
He shot me down, bang bang
I hit the ground , bang bang
That awful sound, bang bang
My baby shot me down.

Suggestions - Orelia

It just takes a second for my world to come crumbling down
Oh I'm sure in the distance you can hear that awful sound
How I plead for an answer
Plead for an answer from you
But if you give me and answer that just makes no sense
Then whats the use

And just like that my life is broken
I can barely breath
And now I'm open for suggestions
At the end of the day life's a lesson
Life's a lesson

So why cant he see from my point of view
And how many seconds in the hours of a day we lose
Was it me or his feelings
Me or his feelings that day
Cause I just stood there in silence
Watched while my world away

And just like that my world was broken
I can barely breath and now I'm open for suggestions
At the end of the day life's a lesson
My life's a lesson

Hollow, oh
Feel it in the air that I breath come over me
Come over me
Now I'm broken
Oh yes I'm open for suggestions
Life's a lesson
Now I'm free cause life's a lesson

Oh why can I see it from his point of view?
And how many seconds in the hours will I make him lose?
Oh he said it was him or the answer
It was him or the answer that day
Well I kept shouting out the answer so what was the use anyway?
